ROCK CLIMBING in the South West, North Wales and the Peak District

The aim of Adventure Expeditions is to offer quality instruction on all of our rock climbing courses. We achieve this by keeping the instructor student ratio low and by only using staff who have been trained to the highest standards and holders of the Mountain Instructors Award (MIA).
Our courses are designed to teach the skills that will enable you to go safely and with confidence to explore the exciting sport of rock climbing.
Courses range from one day to one week. You decide what you want to do and in which location, if you have a preference.

Introduction to climbing
(no climbing experience required)

Outdoor climbing for the indoor climber
(learn the skills of traditional rock climbing on outdoor crags)

Intermediate rock improvers
(multi-pitch climbing, abseiling, lead climbing)

Mountain classics
(the classics of North Wales, big boots or rock shoes. You choose !)

Prices from £65 per person per day (based on two students to one instructor). Individual tuition from £100 per day.
All technical equipment is provided, but you are welcome to use your own.

Price does not include accommodation or transport.

Advanced ropework / rescue techniques

Have you ever wondered what you would do if during a climb your partner had an accident ? Would you be able to give assistance ? Could you get them safely off the crag ? Don`t wait for it to happen !
Adventure Expeditions offers courses for the individual or small group in rescue techniques.

•   Assisted hoists
•   Unassisted hoists
•   Assisted abseil
•   Counterbalance abseil
•   Ascending a rope
•   Solving crag problems
